I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers! Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U.S. will not survive.

In 1987 my neighborhood friend lost his 4 year old brother to cancer. My friend and myself were 10 years old at the time. It was a sobering experience that made most of our childhoods come to an abrupt end.

A lot of people have seen me switch from shaving my head up until January of 2019. I have my own brain disease that prompted me to shave my head for a number of years. After making great progress in January of 2019 I decided to grow my hair back. Having a full head of hair is hardly as important as finding a cure for childhood cancer.

I refuse to accept the reality of the survival rates of children diagnosed with cancer. I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids.

Now I need your support! Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive. Join me today and let’s #DFYchildhoodCancers together.
