I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Aflac Cancer & Blood Disorders Center

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Aflac Cancer & Blood Disorders Center

My first ever job back in 1993 was as a Data Entry Clerk for Cancer Research UK.  In the intervening years, great progress has been made in the search for a cure for this terrible disease but there is still so far to go.  Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U.S. will not survive.

I have never worked anywhere quite like the Aflac Cancer & Blood Disorders Center.  I am in awe of the dedication of the team here.  Last year, when Audrey Tumlin was diagnosed with glioblastoma, I decided to sign up as a shavee this year for her and all others who have no choice about hair loss.  She'd have got a kick out of seeing me do this and raising money to help conquer kids' cancers, a cause very close to her heart!  There is no going back now and I need your support!  Every little helps in the search for cures and better treatment for kids so no amount is too small.

Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive. Join me today and let’s #DFYchildhoodCancers together.
