I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hello folks! I hope everyone had/is having a great holiday season. This time of year, it's important to both be grateful for what we have and pray and work for those who do not have the same. One issue that has been very near to my heart is that of childhood cancer. Every day, 43 kids are diagnosed with cancer, a diagnosis that will undoubtedly change their young lives, as 1 in 5 children diagnosed with cancer will not survive.

As many of you know, I've shaved my head for the past 5 years with St. Baldrick's to help raise money to end childhood cancer. With the incredible help of my family and friends, we've raised over $4,500 across those 5 years, and to date St. Baldrick's has awarded over $21 million in grants to advance childhood cancer research. This year, as you may notice, my hair is longer than it's ever been, and it's only going to get longer between now and March, and you can help me make this weird gesture worthwhile!

I cannot emphasize enough how much every little donation helps, for, as Sr. Thea Bowman once said, "if we all lit a candle, we'd have a tremendous light." Thank you so much for all your support, and huge shoutout to Dan Roe for his donation to get the ball rolling! Love you all and God bless you!
