I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research!
5 years ago, my cousin Carrie shaved her head to raise awareness for childhood cancer, and has been a huge supporter of the cause. I admired her when she shaved her head
and participated for the past 5 years. Last year her son shaved his head too. Ironically her 7 year old son Jackson died from osteosarcoma in July. Now the cause is even more important to her and to me. No family should ever have to go through what they have gone through.
I am going to do everything I can to help support Jackson and his family and to raise awareness for Childhood cancer.
Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
