I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: TeamMikeHessBrewing

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Our friends Mike and Lynda Hess’ 13 year old daughter Keely was diagnosed with Cancer.  Mike expresses  how he Started looking at the numbers and the organizations built around pediatric cancer. And, while there are many, many organizations that support the families and patients (financially, or with meals, rides, emotional support, etc), he came to the thought that "wouldn't it be great to put all those organizations out of business, because we've wiped out pediatric cancer?"  He saw that very little money was being spent on research. The statistics are disheartening.

But, we can help. And that's why I, as well as Mike, Lynda and a few of their teammates on Team MikeHessBrewing, are shaving our heads on May 25th. We're going to raise money for research. Research that will hopefully lead to a new drug, a new therapy, a cure.

Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
