I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: St Paul of the Cross School

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: St Paul of the Cross School

Dear Friends,

An 8th grade student of mine, Dominic, is suffering and dying of a cancerous brain tumor. By shaving my head, I am raising awareness and funds for diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma, or DIPG, a cancerous tumor found in the brain stem that cannot be removed, has few treatment options and for which there is very little research. The funds raised will be on behalf of the St Paul of the Cross Team for St. Balderick’s in hopes of sparing other children’s families from this frustrating diagnosis.

Please be generous and most importantly, prayer for Dominic and his family.

Lenten blessings,

Mary Petrash
