I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Norah

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Norah

Team Norah was started for my granddaughter by Tom Schaul who is a current Northbrook Firefighter Local 1894. He and I worked together for many years and continue to serve together on the Pension Board

My three year old granddaughter Norah, known to her friends and family as “Boss Baby” & Super Norah, was diagnosed with ALL: Acute lymphoblastic leukemia, December 11, 2018. It is the more common childhood leukemia, but requires a lengthy treatment. She will be on at least 5 different forms of chemo, and some type of treatment will be going on until 2021, if all goes as planned. In addition to an evolving cycle of medicines at home, she receives her outpatient chemotherapy at Lurie’s in Chicago.

Norah is a spunky, amazing little warrior, fighting this battle with her mom, dad, two older sisters, supportive family and friends, and all of the wonderful people that make up Norah’s Army. The entire family is incredibly grateful for all the outpouring of love and support! Let’s raise as much money as possible to find treatment options and ideally a cure to this awful disease, so fewer children have to battle this nasty cancer monster!!!

Now we can use your help!! Will you make a donation or consider joining Our Team? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

Thanks in advance for your consideration towards this GREAT CAUSE!

Stop by to join in the celebration on March 30 if you're in the neighborhood!

Lets Rally for #SuperNorah!!
