I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Bald and Brash

It’s that time of year again—time to go bald! This is officially my seventh year shaving with St. Baldrick’s, and I’m all revved up to be a Knight of the Bald Table!! This year I am honoring Neil Jarman, the same incredible guy who we honored last year. He passed away at the age of 33 in December of 2018, and while we deeply mourn his passing, we celebrate the years he wrenched away from the hands of Hodgkins Disease. His inspiring self-written piece is featured on our team page, Bald and Brash. Neil was heavily affected by his radiation and chemo treatments in 1995, giving him Congestive Heart Failure, and many other complications. It is through St. Baldrick’s that we contribute to the bettering of treatment for people like Neil, so they can live longer with fewer health complications from the treatment that was supposed to save them. Any and all donations become the grants to fund the scientists that research better and safer treatment methods, bringing a brighter future to everyone. So, donate, donate, donate!
