I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with:
Theta Chi
I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! I’m not going to pretend that I’m well educated about childhood cancer, but I can tell you there’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think about all the kids that I use to see in the hallways at Sloan Kettering in NYC when I spent almost a month there after my emergency surgery in May of 2006. I’ll make it real quick, I currently still have 5 tumors wrapped in my spinal canal which are not growing at this time thanks to 6wks of radiation. I do have major nerve damage on my right side, but it’s nothing compare to what these poor kids have to go through. I was 35yrs old when my life changed, these children didn’t even have a chance to start living. Anyway before I cry just thinking about them, please help me do my part to help. Anyone that really knows me knows I love my hair, so wouldn’t it make your day if I shaved it and raised some money while doing it!!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.
