I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I want to tell you why this is important to me.

My son had a happy, healthy childhood. Hardly ever the sniffles. Never the flu.

And THIS is why I am asking my friends and family to help me raise money for childhood cancer research. I have no idea how hard it must be to cuddle your child and comfort them while a nurse sings a song to distract your baby from the IV that's coming.

I wouldn't have a clue how to carry on if I even had to THINK about losing my baby to an illness.

I couldn't imagine the financial weight moms, dads, aunts, uncles, grands have to carry when faced with your baby becoming ill.

So this is why I am doing this. This is how I want to help make sure all children can say they had a happy healthy childhood.
