I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Dapper PCAPPers

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research!  I am also doing this in loving memory of my cousin Christian James Rivera.  Christian was diagnosed with stage 4 non-Hodgkin lymphoma when he was 3 years and 10 months old on July 24, 2003.  Unfortunately, his diagnosis came too late.  Initially his doctors thought he had bronchitis, and by the time they discovered that it was lymphoma, a tumor had filled his entire chest cavity that put him into cardiac arrest.  Christian underwent one does of radiation and chemotherapy that had shrunk the tumor.  Unfortunately, Christian lost oxygen to his brain during cardiac arrest and never did wake up.  He was in a persistent vegetative coma until he died on August 18, 2003.  Christian was at home, surrounded by family that loved him when he died.  Christian will always be remembered by his big beautiful smile and happy go lucky attitude!  I have uploaded his picture, which can be seen below.

Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.  Thank you for all your help in this fight!
