I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Brookfield Police Department

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Brookfield Police Department

Once again, when we heard the amazing students at Brookfield High School were organizing this event to benefit childhood cancer research, we jumped right in and started raising money! With their nationally popular head-shaving events, The St. Baldrick's Foundation has been able to fund high-impact clinical trials for rare cancers, the best and brightest researchers from around the world, training for the next generation of pediatric oncologists, as well as supportive care research to improve the quality of life for patients and survivors. Kids with cancer often lose their hair during treatment. As a "shavee," several officers from the Brookfield Police Department will shave their heads to show our support — and in the process, hopefully inspire the community to donate whatever they can to this amazing organization where every grant funded by them is for childhood cancer research. Now we need your help! Will you donate to our team and help BHS raise money funds for St. Baldrick's? #kidsaregold #CommunityandPolice

We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
