I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Shiny Domes

Okay folks, it's coming off! Those locks I've been working on for a year-and-a-half are getting buzzed. I decided early on that the "grow-out" would be for a cause, and here we are. Along with (and in honor of) my buddy Burke (a cancer survivor), and in solidarity and honor of my uncle's wife Misty (who is fighting her own battle with cancer), I'm taking part in this wonderful event. St. Baldrick's raises money for childhood cancer research, and I can't think of a better use for my full head of hair than to make some money to support the cause. In addition to the fundraising, I will donate the hair after it has been lopped off. Before getting involved in this, I had no idea that childhood cancer research was extremely underfunded. Now I know, and I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
