I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head in honor of my younger sister Miranda. She's a bright-eyed 15-year old who's been in this fight since the 5th grade, cracking jokes and smiles all along the way. Miranda has fought off Ewing's Sarcoma three times now and while we thought we'd seen the last of it back in June, the cancer decided to show it's ugly face once more on New Year's Eve. Miranda's fight has been tough. It's taken a toll on me, our family, our friends, and especially her. But through it all, we've fought, she's fought harder, and we don't plan on backing down. Ever.

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
