I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Gang Clean

I have made the decision to cut my hair. My last hair cut was in August of 2015 and and I haven’t so much as gotten a trim since. I’ve decided to donate my hair to the charity Wigs for Kids. Wigs for Kids is a non-profit organization that helps create wigs for children suffering from medical hair loss. Medical hair loss is hair loss caused by chemotherapy, radiation therapy, Alopecia, Trichotillomania, burns and other medical issues. Wigs for Kids provide these wigs at no cost to children or their families. To make this more exciting I’ve decided to shave my head for the Saint Baldricks Foundation in the process. Saint Baldricks is another non-profit organization that aims to aid in the fight against childhood cancer. Saint Baldricks participants shave their whole head in support for those who lost their hair due to cancer treatments, and raise money for cancer research. So I plan to tie my hair in a pony tail, cut it off, and continue to have my head shaved at a Saint Baldricks event at the end of March. The pony tail will be mailed to Wigs for Kids to be made into a wig and any money I raise will be donated to Saint Baldricks for childhood cancer research. You can donate to my Saint Baldricks page via the link in my bio. Also, follow @hiebshair on instagram to follow my hair cutting journey and my 100 reasons why I’ve decided to cut my hair, some funny, some meaningful, all worth it.
