I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
2019 is the year I will join the St. Baldrick’s movement and “Brave the Shave” to raise money to fund childhood cancer research.
As a Previvor (someone who is diagnosed with a genetic mutation for cancer) I consider myself very lucky to know my risk. This means I can get timely screenings, change my lifestyle and have preventative surgery to significantly reduce my chances of developing cancer. However, kids do not have this option as one must be 18 to have genetic testing. Did you know the average age children are diagnosed with cancer is 6 years old?
Please consider teaming up with me by donating through my fundraising page. In turn, I will have my head shaved as an act of solidarity with the children who have faced cancer. Together we can help conquer childhood cancer!

Your Roles
St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.
