Hi,
Thanks for visiting my page!
Throughout my years as an educator, I have witnessed students courageously battle childhood cancers. Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So another teacher and I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.
In 2017, I started my journey supporting St. Baldrick's. At the time I was witnessing one of our very own Claggett students courageously battle cancer throughout his middle school years. It was then that Carey, another teacher, and I decided to shave our heads to honor and support Dominic, while also helping to raise awareness and funding for research of childhood cancer. In 2017 we had the honor of Dominic taking part in shaving our heads. Unfortunately, this year we will be shaving our heads in memory of Dominic, as he lost his battle in 2018.
Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
Thanks for the support!
Jessie
