I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

My family has personally been touched with tragedy when we lost a daughter to brain cancer back in 2012. Isabella was diagnosed when she was just 5 years old and died shortly after her 9th birthday, after spending years going through chemotherapy and radiation therapy.

Now her younger brothers (Nathaniel, Giancarlo, and Xavier) and I will be shaving our heads to raise money for research so that no other child and no other family has to go what we went through.

We chronicled our experience with Isabella from her diagnosis to her death on a blog here:

http://isabella.icatar.com

We also keep an ongoing memorial for Isabella on Facebook here:
