I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Sacramento Comedy Spot

"I don't know who you are. If you are looking for a cure for cancer, so am I. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills. Donation-acquiring skills. Skills that make me a nightmare for afflictions like cancer. If you choose not to donate, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you. I will not pursue you. But if you do choose to generously donate to this wonderful cause, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will...THANK you."

Hi, my name is Mike and I've decided to "Brave the Shave" for childhood cancer research! On March 16th, my friends at The Sacramento Comedy Spot and I will be shaving our heads to raise money and awareness for this worthy cause. Please show your support by donating! Every dollar we raise will help "shave a life"!
After we've shorn our locks, feel free to join us for a FREE charity comedy show, St. Bald-prov, at The Sacramento Comedy Spot on Saturday, March 21st at 10:30 PM! Myself and four other follicly-challenged improvisers will dazzle and delight you with improvised scenes based on acts of charity and haircuts!
The money I raise in this effort is in honor of a young boy from my hometown of Sacramento named Bryce. Bryce has evil robots called "Leukemias" in his blood, and his medicine contains "Blood Ninjas" that keep the Leukemias from copying themselves. Which as far as I'm concerned, basically makes this kid Batman. This page contains a link to Bryce's St. Baldrick's profile, where you can learn more about his inspiring story, and see what his family has done in response to this challenging aspect of their lives--it's very impressive stuff.
Thank you so much for your support! Remember--charity begins where our hair ends!
