I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: LOVE YOUR MELON

Did you know that a child is diagnosed with cancer ever 2 minutes and by the age of 20, 1 in 285 children in the United States will have cancer? More children are lost to cancer in the U.S. than any other disease, how crazy is that?!?! However, since 1950s, almost all kids diagnosed with cancer died, but because of the research today about 90% of kids with most common types of cancer will live!!! How amazing is that?!?

So today think about all the birthday’s you got to live and all the birthday parties you had in the safety in your home. Now think about all the birthday’s these children have to celebrate in a hospital and how their family thinks it’s a blessing that they even made it there. Finally, picture a world where they don’t have to think it’s a blessing.

Help me reach my goal of $3,000 by even just donating a dollar, or what you would have spent on coffee that day, or just by sharing this would help tremendously!!!

Help me try to see the end of cancer, make birthday’s the way they used to be instead of a blessing.
