I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

I first read about Donna in 2011 during Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month when her mom, ChicagoNow Blogger Mary Tyler Mom, shared Donna's 31 month fight with 31 posts, one for each day of September. Donna's story changed my life. Why Donna and not my little girl? Who makes that decision? When I finished reading all if the posts, I knew I had to do something. I have hair and it will grow back, but the money I raise will do wonders in the fight against pediatric cancer!

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Make a donation and be a hero today!!
