I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded, so I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.
After cancer struck my family in 2010 and I witnessed it's impact firsthand, I knew I never wanted others to face the same obstacles again. I am shaving my head to bring hope to children battling cancer and in rememberence of Oma, Grandpa John, Jan and Aunt Linda, who lost their fight to cancer, Lenora & Sheryl, who suffered from the effects of this horrible disease and in honor of Alex & Marion, who are currently battling cancer. If you have someone you'd like me to honor or remember, I invite you to donate in their name.
Will you help me reach my goal of raising $2,500? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Through the funds I raise I intend to foster hope in a sometimes hopeless situation.
There are other ways to help this wonderful organization as well, such as sharing my fundraising page or volunteering your time. No action is too small!
Thank you for your support and for helping me rock the bald! Let's fund this important research and arrive one step closer to finding a cure!
