I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: UC Davis Medical School

Hi, My name is Mary Jo and I decided to participate in St. Baldrick's this year to show my support for those who lost their hair (adults and children) while going through cancer treatment. The money raised through this fundraiser is used for childhood cancer research! When I first decided to participate in this event, it was to support a co-worker who is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer. Then a few months ago I also found out that a very dear cousin of mine has a grandson who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer and is undergoing treatment now. He is only 12 years old. So this is for both of them! In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. Please make a donation on my behalf to support childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for a cure.
