I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Firespring

Believe it or not, me and my hair go way back.


Rattail. Crew cut. Mop top. Best Hair, EHS Class of ’07.


We’ve been everywhere together, but Sept. 13, we’re going our separate ways for good.


Childhood cancer research is woefully underfunded, and the champs at St. Baldrick's Foundation are helping lead the charge to take childhood back. Their most popular fundraisers are head-shaving events, and yours truly will be doing just that, giving my hair and—hopefully with your help—a $500 check.


I got things started, but if you feel so obliged, make a donation here. Give a little, give a lot, give what you can—just know that every dollar is a step in the right direction and your support means everything.
