This is my 3rd year in raising funds for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. 2 years ago I shaved my head and last year I tattooed the Foundation's mascot on my calf. This year I will shave whatever that's left on my head and as a bonus, also wax my legs (yes, I do have hair there).
Why am I doing this? To support the kids in fighting cancer, who typically lose their hair during treatment. More importantly, I'm doing it to raise funds for childhood cancer research.
I aim to raise US$20,000 and the funds will go to the Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School in Singapore.
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least three years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.
