I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: AGS Cares

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: AGS Cares

When I was 10 years old, my family fostered a kid called Ivan. Ivan was 8 years old, and had been put on an airplane by himself from the US to Hong Kong to "find his dad".

Ivan landed in Hong Kong and no one was there at the airport, and no way to contact or find any family members in Hong Kong. Ivan moved in with us while we tried to find his family but in the weeks that followed, doctors discovered that Ivan had Leukemia.

We were lucky enough to look after him as he underwent treatment in Hong Kong. To this day I still remember the awful situation that Ivan was in: abandoned, sick, without hope.

This is my small way to help raise support to find cures for childhood cancer in memory of Ivan.
