I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: IHM's Kathy & The Kids

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Every year, I have my head shaved in honor of my sister Teresa, who is a cancer survivor.  Thanks to the research done, her chances of survival went from 80% in 1993 to 97% in 1997, the year she was diagnosed.

Are family is very grateful for all those dedicated to fighting all types of cancer.  Join us in this fight!

My sister, Caroline will also be shaving her head this year, look for our picture after March 13 on Facebook
