I am shaving to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Rocking Bald For The Cause

When I decided to organize my first St. Baldrick's event in 2014, I thought it was a one-time deal. Instead, it became a decade-long project and one of my life's great passions. It also gave me some incredible friends who have an equally-strong passion for helping children who have cancer.

I was able to pop into the Columbia event in 2025 and see the incredible work that my friend Ivan Baughman and his crew are doing in their community. This year, my softball travels perfectly align so that I am in Columbia at the same time as the 20th Anniversary event. I told Ivan "I'm in!"

This will be the 12th time that I have shaved my head for the St. Baldrick's Foundation. I'm asking you to donate not just on my bald head - let's be honest, my hair is generally pretty short as it is - but to help find a cure for pediatric cancer.

Every dollar helps make a difference. Your gift will give kids and their families hope, supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants, the St. Baldrick's Foundation.
