I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I have been wanting to participate in this cause for several years but due to a professional career I have been unable to participate as a "shavee." Now that I no longer have that professional job I can shave away to help raise money for child cancer research. I wish that I was as strong as these children and could run a marathon or climb a mountain to raise money but I think this is a great way to raise awareness and money for a great cause. No one asks to get cancer but these kids didn't ask to have childhood spent in hospitals and doctors offices. The money raised will go towards research to help find cures and let these children have the childhood every child deserves. It would mean a lot to me if my friends and family donated to this cause. Please do not feel that if you can't donate $25 or $50, that you should not donate at all. While I have a lot of money to raise every dollar counts. If you can only give $1 or $5 it will be appreciated. I promise to share the pictures of my shaved head after all is said and done. Thanks in advance. Jen
