I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Salon Professional Academy

Hi, everyone! I'm Abigail, and I am a student hairstylist at the Salon Professional Academy. Being a stylist, I LOVE my hair, especially since it took me about 3 years to grow it this long (Between 14 and 16 inches long)! But when I heard about St. Baldrick's, the cause really struck home with me. I've known many families whose lives have been greatly affected by cancer. They've had to choose life-saving treatments over keeping their hair. And when it came down to it, realizing how much I cherish my own hair helped me see the value in sacrificing it so that maybe someday these children will be able to beat cancer without losing their hair. So, I have made a promise that if I can raise 5,000 dollars for St. Baldrick's, I will shave my head and donate my hair to make a wig for a child in need. I know I can get there, but I need your help! Even if you can't donate, please share this page! Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
