I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Hefner 901

I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm going to lead my school to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.
On June 4, 2010, I shaved my head in memory of two very special people... My mom, Gayle Lister, who lost her battle with AML 8 1/2 years ago, and Laiken Kenwood, who lost her battle with ALL at Children's Hospital, Los Angeles nearly four years ago at the tender age of 13.
Money raised for this cause goes to CHLA (and other worthy hospitals!), to help kids win their own battles with cancer.
Shaving my head to raise money to cure cancer was an amazing experience and I've done it three times now (once at the finish line at the Long Beach Marathon!)... I promised my dad and gramma that when I was healthy, I would let my hair grow. So, I will not be shaving this time around. I will, however, be raising funds and actively participating in every other aspect of our event!
Please donate whatever you can (no donation is too small!) to help me find a cure for childhood cancers.
Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail.
Thank you so much for supporting me in the fight against children's cancers!
Light and Love... x13.
