I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I’ve been thinking about joining St. Baldrick’s for 5 years. I’ve finally plucked up enough courage to do it! I am so excited about going bald! :)  Did you know that every 3 minutes, there’s a child that’s diagnosed with cancer in the world? I didn’t until a few days ago! The survival rate is about 88%. Pediatric survivors often suffer from side effects of treatment, which affects their childhood development.

I’m honoring Hannah, a 7 year-old, who is also from Hong Kong! :) Hannah was diagnosed with cancer at age 4 and is now in remission. Unfortunately, chemotherapy and radiation have caused brain shrinkage and nerve damage. Now, Hannah has to readjust to walking with a walker. She has also lost sight and hearing on her right side.

Let’s help children, like Hannah, battle cancer and side effects of treatment together. All donations will work towards developing safer and more accurate cancer treatment for children.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
