I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

My name is Grace, I'm 13 years old and I have decided to shave my head for childhood cancer research. No, I don't have a relative or friend with cancer. No, that does not mean that I have no reason to be doing this. Childhood cancer is different than adulthood cancer, and research for childhood cancer is extremely underfunded. I feel like a lot of people see commercials on TV or read articles about childhood cancer and then think "Hmm, that's so sad." but don't actually do anything about it. I want to change that. We need to not only be aware of it, we need to do something to change it. We need to think "I am not okay with this. No child should have to suffer through cancer, and no parent should have to watch them do it. How can I help make sure it never happens again?" So please donate. Help me stand in the way of childhood cancer's path of destruction, and someday we will block it off entirely.

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
