I am shaving to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Handsome lads

Why am I shaving my head, and why should you care?

My name is Deacon Knight. I’m a fun-loving and easy-going 13 year old. This year I will be participating in St. Baldrick’s for the second time. I wasn't originally planning on it, but the death of my mentor and 3rd grade teacher, Mr. Myers, to cancer made me realize how many people are suffering now like he was. Mr. Myers always taught us that even small efforts have big impacts.

St. Baldrick's is an organization dedicated to the research and aid of children's cancer and kids with cancer. St. Baldrick’s was something he was very passionate about and each year he hosted a Brave The Shave event at our school. Mr. Myers loved working with students and teaching us through events like Brave The Shave how to be good citizens within our own communities. My goal is to raise $500 to honor Mr. Myers and all he taught me. No donation you can give is too little or too small (even if it is just one cent), as everything helps and all goes to fighting kids cancer. Please donate using the link below:

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
