I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: CUW Men’s Lacrosse

Why am I shaving my head, and why should you care?

It started as a spur of the moment decision that two of my teammates made one random St. Patricks Day, and quickly evolved into a team event that was a ton of fun. I have always loved having long hair and have always been very proud of it, but at the end of the day, it will grow back, and if I have to shave it to help raise money for cancer research, then sign me up. I think that St. Baldricks has done a great job of making their events fun and energetic and they do a great job of making fundraising fun. For me, I have never had to doubt whether or not this seemingly small event makes an impact, because I know it does, and I know I will continue to participate. I hope you see how much of an impact you can have on the world by helping by donating or participating in these events.

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
