I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Hales

Hello friends! On March 10, I will be participating in a fundraising event sponsored by St. Baldricks Foundation for childhood cancer research. Almost everyone has been touched by cancer in some manner or another. Sadly, I have lost two incredible, irreplaceable Uncles to cancer. Gratefully, however, I witnessed a life long friend conquer the disease. I cringe when I hear the word. It angers me the diagnosis has become so commonplace. I am tired of it ruining so many lives. It is a medical bully and it must be stopped. Please join me in my efforts to raise money for this important foundation in its fight to do just that. You can donate to my personal goal or to my team by following the instructions on this page. We all know you don’t get much worth having for a dollar these days. Let’s see, you could get a supposed to be beef burger, a scratch off lottery ticket, or a trinket from a machine. Or, you could take that same single dollar and buy hope, provide answers, and brighten futures. It’s a no brainer people, donate the dang dollar! Heck, put that dollar together with some of its friends and donate $5, $10, or $1 million for that matter. I’ll be grateful for whatever you can give. Remember, each and every dollar helps. Please help me spread the word by telling your friends, your friend’s friends, your co-workers, your relatives, anyone with a giving heart. Oh, did I mention, in addition to raising money, I will be getting my head shaved as part of this event?!? Hopefully through this research, I will be able to say a head of hair is the last I lost to cancer. Please, please, please help make a difference. Thank you!
