I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Misbeshaven

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Misbeshaven

My mother had a rare form of tissue cancer called DFSP, but has gotten great results with the removal of the tumor . My Grandpa Chuck who was so supportive of me has lost his battle with leukemia. I also lost my Aunt Tammy ,my Uncle Joe and my mother's grandfather these people have been such strong influences in our lives yet thanks to cancer I have never met any of them. It has been a lot for my family. I have been waiting all year for this event. It helps me to feel like i have some power over the Cancer which invades my family. Helping raise money for this cause makes me feel so good. I know what it is like to be scared by this disease. I know I will be nervous to shave my head (i never have liked clippers),but i know cancer makes people really nervous too. I hope by doing this I can help to make cancer less scary for other people.

Please make a donation on my behalf to support childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for a cure.
