In 2012, I braved the shave for the first time and raised $1,322 for childhood cancer research. Things in my life have changed quite a bit since then; I'm mom to an amazing toddler, a UA SLIS alumna, a retired (?) derby dame, and a four-year member of the Clemson family.
I'm asking for your support once again to help me reach an even higher goal and I've been growing my hair out to make it worth your while! In fact, this event is the day before my birthday, so I'll be celebrating with a new 'do.
St. Baldrick's is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. St. Baldrick's Foundation has even funded 14 grants in South Carolina, including five current grants.
Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens, and young adults who are fighting childhood cancers. When I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Choose "Donate" to give online or donate by phone, mail, or handing me some cash (that I'll promptly log and credit you for).
Thank you! ☺️️
