I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Total raised over 15 years $12,121

15 years….. What have you done in the last 15 years? Graduated college, gotten a new job? Bought a new car, a house? Gotten married, had a child? So much life is packed into 15 years. It’s tragic to realize that 1 in 5 children with children's cancer lose out on more than 4 times that number of years.

Fighting children's cancer is a cause that has become nearer and dearer to my heart every year as I watch my niece and nephews grow up.

Children’s cancer is one of the greatest tragedies in the world. Of the 4 in 5 children who survive cancer, 96% have a serious or life threatening illness by age 50. I cannot imagine how terrible it must be to be the parent of one of these children or the child themselves.

What must be even worse is to realize that almost no funding is being dedicated to finding new treatments for these cancers. St. Baldricks fills an essential gap by funding research of treatment directly.

I ask please if you are able you consider donating to my fund raising goal. Every dollar counts.
