I remember when my mom told me that she had breast cancer 20 years ago…..and again 5 years ago. She is cancer free today. I remember the day that I was in the doctor’s office 6 years ago and was told that I had skin cancer. I am cancer free today. 3 month ago Jan (my girls mom) told me she had Thyroid cancer. Today, she is cancer free. We are all lucky and are blessed to still be here today. But how many of you have a similar story of a friend, co-worker, loved one or their children that has gone though some terrible times with this terrible disease.
I know that I don't have much hair left, but I have decided to shave my head anyways to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation! This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids.
I will be shaving my head next week in Sunnyvale, so your attention to this now is important. Please click on the link and donate today!
