I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Junior Fuel

Hopefully everyone has survived the past year like none other in our lifetimes. COVID has impacted everything about our old normalcy and we certainly see a glimpse of that returning sometime later in 2021.

One thing that didn't change was many other illnesses slowing down or going away, including Childhood Cancer.

The Indiana Youth Hockey Association (IYHA)/ Indy Fuel has been involved with St. Baldrick’s for nearly 10 years. On Saturday, February 20th, I’ll be shaving my head for the 7th year in a row and donate all proceeds to St. Baldrick’s for them to fund grants to continue the search for various cures affecting kids around the greater Indianapolis area. My son was involved in youth hockey for over 10 years and we've seen several kids in IYHA who were diagnosed with cancer over the years. I’ve seen the work they’ve done and will continue to support them until my hair stops growing back.

Your consideration of a donation is greatly appreciated.

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
