I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head to stand in solidarity with my cousin Lexi and raise money for childhood cancer research!

Lexi is 12 years old and going through her third battle against cancer.  Throughout the process Lexi has wanted to give back and support other children who are also fighting cancer. She demonstrates a care and maturity beyond her age. It is an honor and privilege to call her family and to stand with Lexi by going bald to help raise awareness and support for kids with childhood cancer. Lexi has been an inspiration to many and her story has impacted those across the nation
As a teacher, I have seen the stress of illness on my students and their families. No child should have to go through the fear and worry that cancer and other illness' bring.
Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Standing with you Lexi!! Fight like a Girl!
