I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Stacia

Hey there! Yep, can you believe it?! Shaving my head for an amazing cause. Actually, for those who know me, this isn't a huge stretch. And for those who know the personal, medical battles I've faced on my own, this is a beautiful way to help me heal. My oldest son, Decker, is a classmate of Stacia. When I heard what the Mers family was faced with, I broke down in tears and fell to the floor. When Decker was a mere 3 1/2 years old we had a short stint at MSTI for a blood disorder, and seeing all the beautiful bald heads of the children there gave me a strong appreciation for his condition. He came through with flying colors, but there have been many other medical challenges ahead of our family since then...including a visit to Stacia's very own Dr Cherny for my little Riley. Needless to say, I am a cancer survivor who has a strong draw to helping others. Shaving my head is the LEAST I can do...afterall, it's ONLY HAIR! Please, consider doing YOUR part by donating to this beautiful cause by hitting that little button below. Give up your weekly lattes for a little bit and make the money REALLY count! The kids thank you...
