I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Dear Friends, I am happy to say that this is my fourth year shaving my head to cure childhood cancer. I am even happier to say that Luke will turn 5 on Sunday and is CANCER FREE! We are blessed to be spending Luke's 5th birthday like most other children eating too many sweets and playing with his friends. Many of you remember that only 4 short years ago Luke turned 1 year old and was going through chemotherapy. We are blessed in so many ways and this Childs life is right at the top! Thank You Lord! I recognize that God has allowed these doctors to perform miracles through advancements in medicine, there is no denying that. However, it takes money to provide for the environment that these doctors and patients need to allow miracles to happen. With your contributions we have raised 11,747.00 over the past three years, Thank You! In 2009 St. Baldrick's raised over 16 Million dollars and this year is climbing above 2 Million dollars. It is amazing to me that this started in 2000 and the first year saw only 104,000.00 and included only 17 people. To go from that to over 16Million in 9 years is amazing! Although Luke benefited from many years of advancement of medicine, they did not have the money that St. Baldrick's is donating. We have only begun to see the impact of these dollars and the word CURE is now a possibility for many types of childhood cancer. Please join me in whatever capacity you can this year to continue to invest in our children's future. Remember, these children didn't smoke, or indulge in activities that gave them this disease. They are not at fault. We owe it to them to give what we can to improve their lives. In addition to your donation I ask that you pray for Riley Monroe, Grayson Bradshaw and all the other children that are currently in cancer treatment. Blessings, Brady Adams
