Hello, Friends. My niece, Isabella (Bella), is fighting her way back from Leukemia. More than 5,600 American kids are diagnosed with some kind of leukemia annually. Nearly a quarter of them lose the fight. I've been to the Denver Hospital's cancer center for kids. Just walking the halls made me cry.
I'm flying to Denver March 12 and letting St. Baldrick's shave my head to show my support for Bella and countless other kids who are facing tough odds and long struggles. I need your help.
Donations are tax-deductable. It only takes a few minutes. Whether it's $10 or $100, this is one time when I'm happy to take your money and proud to count your name on the list of my friends who stand up to support something important.
TWO MORE GREAT REASONS TO CONTRIBUTE TO ST. BALDRICKS RIGHT NOW:
1. Your contribution makes a direct impact. The cost of treating a child with leukemia is staggering. This organization puts the money directly into treatment centers and research grants.
2. I'll share the day with you. The folks who contribute to this cause will get a special photo album of the day's events. The rest of the world will just get to see me wearing a ball cap for a few months.
Drop a few bucks in the cyber hat and put your name on the wall. I don't care about the dollar figure, and it's confidential anyway. My goal is to get as many of my friends as possible to show their support for a good cause.
Thank you for taking the time to check this out. Hope I can count on your support for this event.
