Acts 20:35 (NIV)
In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'"
Yes, I'm a GIRL! And YES, I'm going to have my head shaved!! AND NO I WILL NOT BE EMBARASSED! I am a Momma of four beautiful children, and I want to participate to show my children what it means to take a stand and help people for something that we all believe in. Cancer touches every life. Whether it be when we are old or young. It may be a grandparent, a mother or father, a friend, or a child we love. I am raising money to help children fight to live. I am standing in solidarity to show that I believe we can eventually find a cure!
I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
