I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I HATE CANCER.

I hate what it does to people who have it. I hate what it does to the people who love them.

I especially hate childhood cancers. Before I got involved with St. Baldrick's, I didn't realize that childhood cancers are different from adult cancers, or that research for  these types of cancers is extremely underfunded.

We need cures. And I can help do something about that by shaving my head to raise money for research. Last year, St. Baldrick's funded $22 million in grants for research - but they had $32 million in applications. I want to fill that gap. I want every person working on a cure to cancer - adult and childhood - to get the money they need to do their research, and St. Baldrick's can help make that happen. You can help make that happen.

Will you make a donation? Support me and the mission of St. Baldrick's as I shave my head for the 3rd year in a row and the 4th time overall. (Plus once for the Komen foundation!) This year I will be shaving for Hedda, who is fighting Medulloblastoma (brain cancer), for Jordyn who passed away in 2014, for Kim who passed away in 2017 and for Johanna who passed away in 2015.

Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
