I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

You may know me from a previous event I was registered for but was unable to participate in. I was pretty bummed until I found this event! I'm starting at square one with fundraising again for this event, so any shoutouts or donations would be greatly appreciated!

So I have long hair and have pretty much my whole life. The shortest my hair has ever been was the bob I decided to get both in the fourth grade and then in my freshman year of college. I wasn't actually particularly a fan of either of those. So why am I going one step beyond that and shaving all my hair off, you ask? FOR THE KIDS. They don't get a choice as to whether or not they lose their hair, and they will go through a lot more discomfort than I potentially will by shaving my head. The best part? Shaving my head helps raise money for cancer research! Pediatric cancer is extremely underfunded, and the treatments the kids are receiving are about 30 years old, which is a long time! But in order to change that we need donations, and for that I need your help! Every dollar benefits the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Thank you in advance for your donation!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
