I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Dungeons & Baldies

Hear ye, hear ye! Yer neighborhood Squire of Hope is here to ask for your assistance in the ongoing fight against villainous childhood cancers. St. Baldrick's and its many volunteers work tirelessly to fund the all important research into childhood cancers. Unlike adult cancers, childhood cancers are a class of their own and thus require their own brand of research. That's what we are funding folks! Life saving research.

This will be my fourth year as a shavee. I have donated money, time, and my locks proudly in the pursuit of answers to a not so simple question: How do we fix this? No parent should have to live with this fear. This year, more than the others, this project has become all the more important to me.

You see my dear cousin has two amazing little girls, both of whom are wee warriors in this fight. My Cookie Monster is out of the woods for now, but Baby Bean? She's starting chemo before she's celebrating her first birthday. I can't even write this without tears. It is them I now fight for. WE need this research. THEY need this research. OTHERS desperately need this research. Something that can put off ER visits and surgeries, and hopefully some day, eradicate this silent monster in these babies for good.

Will you help me fight this silent monster?
