I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Bailey's Bald Warriors

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Bailey's Bald Warriors

When Bailey was a kindergartner he was diagnosed with a brain tumor behind his eye. The next day he underwent a 4 hour brain surgery to try to remove the tumor and save the vision in his eye. Unfortunately, the tumor was too complicated to remove and he lost the vision in his eye shortly after surgery.

The doctors said there was a 30% chance the tumor would stop growing with a year of chemotherapy treatments. After he healed from surgery, Bailey went to Children’s Blood and Cancer Center at Dell Children’s Hospital for weekly chemotherapy treatments. In June of 2015 he finished his treatments and he is happy to say the tumor hasn’t grown since!

Today Bailey is a healthy and happy 11 year old. He loves spending time with his little brother, family and friends. He enjoys sports like Parkour and tennis even though he only has vision in one eye. He is also an A student and is excited to be going to middle school next year.

Bailey is doing great but he isn’t done fighting cancer! He now shaves his head for St. Baldrick’s Foundation every year to raise money for childhood cancer research. Last year he raised over $3400 by himself. This year he is inviting everyone he knows to shave their head with him on March 30! Join Bailey’s Bald Warriors to help save children’s lives!

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
